Come on, step inside, and you will realize.
Tell me what you need, tell me what to be.
What's your vision?
You'll see, what do you expect of me?
I cant live that lie.
[Chorus:]
Hey!
I've sick mom,
With a fucked dad.
Dealing with your life.
Dead bodies everywhere.
You!
Really want me to be a good son. Why?
You make me feel like no one.
Let me strip the plain, let me not give in.
Free me of your life, inside my heart dies.
Your dreams never achieved, don't lay that shit on me.
Let me live my... life.
[Chorus]
You want me to be, something I can never ever be! [x2]
[Chorus]
Dead bodies everywhere! [x8]
Korn is an American nu metal band formed in Bakersfield, California, in 1993. Considered pioneers of the nu metal genre, they have profoundly influenced the music scene of the 1990s and 2000s. Their characteristic sound combines elements of heavy metal, funk, hip hop, and industrial, with lyrics often introspective and dark that explore themes such as pain, depression, and social alienation. The original lineup included Jonathan Davis (vocals), James "Munky" Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar), Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass), and David Silveria (drums). After the success of their self-titled debut album in 1994, Korn released a series of highly successful albums, including *Life is Peachy* (1996), *Follow the Leader* (1998), and *Issues* (1999). Throughout their career, they have sold over 40 million records worldwide. In 2005, Silveria left the band for personal reasons, replaced by Ray Luzier. Welch retired from music in 2005 for religious reasons but returned to playing with Korn in 2013. Among Korn's most representative songs are "Freak on a Leash", "Falling Away from Me", "Got the Life", and "Blind".
