Tha Dogg Pound is an American hip hop duo formed in Long Beach, California, in the 1990s. The group consists of Daz Dillinger (Darnell Wright) and Kurupt (Ricardo Anthony). Considered one of the most influential groups in West Coast rap, they helped define the G-funk sound with their music characterized by laid-back rhythms, syncopated melodies, and lyrics that reflect everyday life on the streets of Long Beach.
