Angel I remember you
Running for the door
You said "You better wait my friend
I could be back for more"
So you walked a while dressed in style
Down some avenue
What is it that
Always makes you do
The thing you do ?
People tell you where to go
What to do all day
They push you down
Right to the ground
You better not complain
Well who's to say
You have to play with
Everyone you meet
It's all the same
It's just a game
So why do we compete ?Don't you know
You and I are equal
Don't you know
We're the beautiful people
So let's turn our minds to love
It's all we need
Mrs Hippy's on the beat
She's pleading for a rise
She'll give you anything
You ask and never compromise
She'll shake your mind
Shake your body
Shake a lot of things
Then light another candle
To wash away your sings
What's possible for Mary
Is impossible for me
But if we join together
There's a possibility
Well stranger thing have happened
Let his story be told
What lies within a flower
Your beauty will unfold
Don't you know
You and I are equal
Don't you know
We're the beautiful people
So let's turn our minds to love
It's all we need
Don't you know ?
Don't you know ?
Don't you know ?
Don't you know ?
We're the beautiful people

Tra i suoi brani più noti figurano "I Promised Myself", "Loving You Is Painful" e "Each Time You Break My Heart".

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
