The Corrs are an Irish band of Celtic-pop and folk rock music formed in 1991 in Dundalk. The members of the group are siblings Andrea (lead vocals, tin whistle), Sharon (violin, backing vocals), Caroline (drums, bodhran, backing vocals) and Jim (guitar, keyboards/piano backing vocals). Raised in a musical environment thanks to their parents who played in various local bands and formed their own traditional Irish folk band, Sound Affair, the Corrs began playing together from a young age.
