See that man he's got a gun
And it he's been taught who to hate
See that crowd there on the run
Better stop him before it's too late
Back in school he wasn't bright
Always angry looking for a fight
You got a pretty idea for a tea party
He got a gun taken it out of sight
Yea he keeps it out of sight
To suffer in silence
That's gonna stop
He get up on the run
On a city trying to beat the odds
He's also believed
His mind is too sit around
The heartless and hatred
Never lost to the down town
He's got a fever to use that gun
He's got a scope and pamo gear
He thinks he's gonna be our hero
But he's a master he's never in fear
Yeah he's got, he's got the gear
To suffer in silence
That's gonna stand
To suffer in silence
That's gonna stop
He get up on the run
On a city trying to beat the odds
He's also believed
His mind is too sit around
The heartless and hatred
Never lost to the down town
See that man he's got a gun
And it he's been taught who to hate
See that crowd there on the run
Better stop him before it's too late
See that man he's got a gun
And it he's been taught who to hate
See that crowd there on the run
Better stop him before it's too late
See that man he's got a gun
See that man he's got a gun
See that man he's got a gun
See that man he's got a gun
And he's got a second one
D.O.A. is a hardcore punk band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They are often referred to as the "founders" of hardcore punk, along with Black Flag, Bad Brains, and Minor Threat. Their second album Hardcore '81 was thought by many to have been the first actual reference to the second wave of the American punk sound as hardcore. Singer/guitarist Joey "Shithead" Keithley is the only founding member to have stayed in the band throughout its entire history. However, original bassist Randy Rampage has been active in the band in recent years and has played on two of the band's last three albums, although he is not in the current lineup. D.O.A. has often released music on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Records, and they have released an album with Jello Biafra titled Last Scream of the Missing Neighbors.
