Kadebostany is a Swiss musical group formed in Geneva in 2008. The name comes from a combination of the surname of the founder, Gino Kadlec, and the French word «ostan», which means «remain». Their music genre is characterized by a mix of electronic pop, synth-pop and world music, with Latin and Afro-Caribbean influences. The group gained international fame in 2013 with the single «Castlevania», which topped the charts in several European countries. Kadebostany is known for its complex arrangements, catchy melodies and energetic live performances. Among their most representative songs are also «The Way I Feel», «My Love Is Gone» and «Runaway». Their debut album, «Kadebostany», was released in 2010.
