Kvelertak is a Norwegian death 'n' roll band formed in Stavanger in 2006. Their sound, a blend of death 'n' roll, black metal and hardcore punk, quickly propelled them into the European metal underground. The band's name, which means "the suffocators" in Norwegian, reflects the power and intensity of their live performances.
