Biografia

Mon Laferte, whose real name is Norma Monserrat Bustamante Laferte, is a Chilean-Mexican singer-songwriter, painter, and activist. Born in Viña del Mar in 1983, she moved to Mexico at the age of 17 to pursue her musical career. Her music blends Latin American folk, alternative rock, and pop, featuring a powerful voice and catchy melodies. Laferte achieved international success with albums like "Mon Laferte Vol. 1" (2013) and "Norma" (2017), the latter nominated for a Grammy Latino Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Among her most popular songs are "Tu Falta el Amor", "Amárrame", and "Si Dios Quiera". Besides music, Laferte is also recognized as a painter and social activist, advocating for social justice and human rights.
