Massimo Bubola è un cantautore, scrittore e produttore discografico italiano nato a Roma nel 1948. È noto soprattutto per il suo lungo e proficuo sodalizio con Fabrizio De André, con il quale ha scritto alcuni dei brani più celebri del cantautore genovese, tra cui «Don Chisciotte» e «La canzone di Marinella». Bubola ha collaborato anche con altri artisti importanti come Fiorella Mannoia, i Gang, Mauro Pagani e molti altri. Oltre alla musica, Bubola si è dedicato anche alla scrittura, pubblicando romanzi, racconti e saggi. Tra le sue opere più note figurano «Il cielo di Roma» (1987) e «La vita in un giorno» (2003). La sua produzione musicale spazia tra il cantautorato italiano, la musica folk e l'elettronica. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi si ricordano «L'uomo che amava le stelle», «Il cielo di Roma» e «La vita in un giorno».
