Las chicas de mi barrio llevan
El sol en la cintura
Nos hizo quemaduras
Aquella libertad
Los chicos de la esquina me preguntan
Si yo camino sola
Si necesito ayuda o si soy nueva en la ciudad
Y yo sigo a mi bola
En este momento te prometo
Que en nuestro aniversario
Aunque ya no nos veamos
Iremos a bailar
Para desafiar a todos los que dicen
Que no será posible
Amar después de amar
Si tú me quieres
Me dejarás volar
Si tú me quieres
Me dejarás volar
Presiento que llega la tormenta
Y que lo que nos queda
Será nuestra verdad
Para desafiar a todos los que piensan
Que no será posible
Volvernos a encontrar
Amar después de amar
Si tú me quieres
Me dejarás volar
Si tú me quieres
Me dejarás volar
Pero si tú me quieres
Me dejarás marchar
Y algún día podremos
Volvernos a encontrar
Y no me harás reproches
Las chicas de mi barrio llevan
El sol en la cintura
Nos hizo quemaduras
Aquella libertad
Como ninguna
Amaral is a Spanish musical duo formed by Eva Amaral (vocalist) and Juan Aguirre (guitarist). The group was born in Zaragoza in 1997 after Eva, initially a drummer in another band, decided to collaborate with Aguirre to perform their own songs. Amaral's musical style is defined as pop rock, but often blends Latin influences, folk rock, synthesizers and poetic lyrics with a strong traditional Spanish component. Juan Aguirre, born in San Sebastián (Donostia) in the Guipúzcoa province of Spain, spent his childhood in the Gros neighborhood and currently resides in Zaragoza, while Eva is originally from the same city. Among their most representative songs are "Rosas", "Motivos", "19 días y 500 noches" and "El universo de los sueños".
