People In Planes is a five-piece indie rock band from Cardiff, Wales. Active since 2003, the group previously used the names Tetra Splendour and Robots in the Sky. The current name derives from the band's passion for travel, particularly aviation, a theme also present in song titles and lyrics of their debut album with the Tetra Splendour formation.
