Giulio Ondretti is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Macerata on May 16, 1993. Growing up in a humble family, his passion for music ignited at a young age listening to artists like Battisti, Vasco Rossi, Grignani and rock bands such as The Police, Pink Floyd and The Doors. At the age of 6, he moved with his family to Puglia, where he began writing his first songs at 16 by forming a group with friends from high school. In 2011, he recorded his first self-produced EP titled "Essenza", which includes the single of the same name, winner of a music contest on RTL 102.5. This success allowed him to be interviewed live on the radio program "Protagonisti" and meet Kekko from Modà at RTL studios. In 2014, Giulio decided to continue his career as a solo artist after leaving the group. He began collaborating with Max Marcolini, guitarist for Zucchero and producer of artists like Alexia and Irene Fornaciari, who helped him arrange his songs. In 2015, Giulio participated in the Sanremo Giovani selections with the song "Non sarai l'unica (vita)", written together with Simone Martusciello. Currently, Giulio continues to compose new original songs.
