Giulio Ondretti è un cantautore italiano nato a Macerata il 16 maggio 1993. Cresciuto in una famiglia umile, la sua passione per la musica si accende fin da bambino ascoltando artisti come Battisti, Vasco Rossi, Grignani e band rock come The Police, Pink Floyd e The Doors. A 6 anni si trasferisce con la sua famiglia in Puglia, dove inizia a scrivere le sue prime canzoni all'età di 16 anni formando un gruppo con amici del liceo classico. Nel 2011 registra il suo primo EP autoprodotto intitolato "Essenza", che include il singolo omonimo vincitore di un contest musicale su RTL 102.5. Questo successo gli permette di essere intervistato in diretta nel programma radiofonico "Protagonisti" e di incontrare Kekko dei Modà negli studi di RTL. Nel 2014, Giulio decide di proseguire la sua carriera da solista dopo aver lasciato il gruppo. Inizia a collaborare con Max Marcolini, chitarrista di Zucchero e produttore di artisti come Alexia e Irene Fornaciari, che gli aiuta ad arrangiare i suoi brani. Nel 2015 partecipa alle selezioni di Sanremo Giovani con il brano "Non sarai l'unica (vita)", scritto insieme a Simone Martusciello. Attualmente Giulio continua a comporre nuovi brani inediti.
