I laid my soul in front of you
I tied myself to the railroad tracks
You refused my point of view
Then diluted all my facts
You won it, you broke it
You held it to choke it
You're pulling my heart
Out from under
You won it, you broke it
You held it to choke it
You're pulling my heart
Out from under me
I gave you all I had inside
And every chance to tell the truth
My faith in you has been denied
But forced a smile in spite of you
You won it, you broke it
You held it to choke it
You're pulling my heart
Out from under
You won it, you broke it
You held it to choke it
You're pulling my heart
Out from under me
Me. Me. Yeah out from under
Me. Me. Me. Yeah out from under
You won it, you broke it
You held it to choke it
You're pulling my heart
Out from under
You won it, you broke it
You held it to choke it
You're pulling my heart
Out from under
You won it, you broke it
You held it to choke it
You're pulling my heart
Out from under me
Skid Row is an American heavy metal band formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. The founding members are Rachel Bolan (bass) and Dave "The Snake" Sobo (guitar). Completing the original lineup were Matt Fallon (vocals), Scotti Hill (guitar) and Rob Affuso (drums). In 1987 Sebastian Bach replaced Fallon on vocals, leading the band to international success. Skid Row released three platinum albums in the 1990s: "Skid Row" (1989), "Slave to the Grind" (1991) and "Subhuman Race" (1992). Bach was fired in 1997, followed by a series of lineup changes. In 2000 the band released a new album with Tony Harnell on vocals, but without previous success. Skid Row continues to exist and perform since 2016 with Johnny Solinger (former Whitesnake) as singer. Representative tracks include "18 and Life", "I Remember You", "Youth Gone Wild" and "Big Guns".
