Armored Saint is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1982. Considered one of the cornerstones of the thrash metal movement of the 1980s, they helped define the aggressive and melodic sound of this musical genre. Their sound is characterized by powerful riffs, driving rhythms, and lyrics often inspired by social and political themes. Among the most notable members are bassist Joey Vera and vocalist John Bush, who later lent his voice to the bands Anthrax and Armored Saint. Among their most important albums are *Delirious Nomad* (1983), *March of the Saint* (1984) and *Revelation* (1987). Armored Saint disbanded in 1990 before reuniting in 2006, continuing to record and perform successfully to this day.
