Amanda is an Italian singer-songwriter born in 1990 who blends Pop with influences of ReB, Soul, Rap and Rock. Her musical project is characterized by the fusion of music and social themes, addressing issues such as the fight against prejudice, gender violence, human rights, courage and revenge. Her original voice alternates a pop writing style with sophisticated rhythms, while live performances combine acoustic instruments and electronic sequences. In 2021 she released the concept album "Amati.", a work of 11 tracks that tells the story of the woman in contemporary society who frees herself from fears and prejudices. The album was produced by Andrea Madeccia at Madhouse Recording Studio. Before the release of the album, Amanda anticipated with singles such as "Parole al Vento", "Aria" and "A Mani Nude", the latter a protest against the system and the people who tried to hinder her. In 2022 she collaborated with Mad for the single "Altrove", a song born during the pandemic that addresses the theme of division caused by prejudice and labels. Amanda has opened concerts for Irene Grandi, recorded backing vocals for Patty Smith's cover "People Have the Power" sung by Laura Pausini and Mika at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, duetted with Modena City Ramblers at Svicolando 2022 and opened the concert of Bottega dell'Arte at Mammut in Rome. Currently she is a regional finalist for Sanremo Rock in the Trend category, a macro-regional semifinalist for "Je so Pazzo" and the "Premio Milleculure" in homage to Pino Daniele. Amanda continues to tour Italy with her band, composed of Mario Talocco (drums and sequences), Antonio Bono (guitar) and Augusto Madeccia (bass), to carry on her artistic project which includes new releases.
