Sacrifice

My eyes seen crime
I'm still alive
My heart knows lies
I'm still alive
My sacrifice

You reap what you sow
You ever have a man hand you a bomb and watch it blow?
I'm still alive
My sacrifice
I still survive

They take me to water to watch me drown
But I never drown
No, yeah
Jah light up the dark that they put me in
I've been redeeming my soul
I'm still alive
My sacrifice

Every morning that I'm waking up
Jah put the sun up for mi skin to touch
See all of my enemies run and I call 'em bluff
I'm still alive
I sacrifice

Mi come from the gutta
The rubbish to riches
They calling my name
Yeah
The ones you love the most
Keep close and out the rain
Long time come now
I'm still around
I'm still alive, yeah
My sacrifice

Jah, come closer cuz mi need Your love
Jah, come closer cuz mi need Your touch
Dem shot the gun and missed
You lift me up
I'm still alive
I still survive
I sacrifice

You fill me empty void
You simmer down the noise
And every time I'm feeling blue
You come and give me joy
I learned to love my life
And when it's cold at night
You keep me warm
You give me strength
You tend to hold me tight

Friends they all come and friends they all go
Money go long and money go low
Back stabber put his hands in my coat
But I'm still alive, yeah
I sacrifice
And when I'm wrong You make me right

You reap what you sow
You ever have a man hand you a bomb and watch it blow
I'm still alive
My sacrifice
I still survive
I sacrifice

Jah, come closer cuz mi need Your love
Jah, come closer cuz mi need Your touch
Dem shot the gun and missed
You lift me up
I'm still alive
I still survive
I sacrifice

Every morning that I'm waking up
Jah put the sun up for mi skin to touch
See all of my enemies run and I call 'em bluff
I'm still alive
I still survive
I sacrifice
