Nattvindens Grat was a Finnish musical group active between 1994 and 1996. The group consisted of Sami Vanska (guitar), Tuomas Holopainen (keyboards) and Teemu Kautonen (drums). Nattvindens Grat released two albums: *Chaos Without Theory* (1994) and *A Bard's Tale* (1996). Holopainen, later famous for being the founder and main composer of the symphonic metal band Nightwish, contributed to defining the musical style of Nattvindens Grat, characterized by dark atmospheres and progressive melodies.
