Music: Rudolf Schenker
Lyrics: Klaus Meine
Would you care for me if I was deaf and blind
Would you hear my voice if I was always quiet
Would you hold my hand if I was going to fall
Would you cry for me would you know my name at all
Would you be there if I was on the ground
Would you be my friend if no one was around
Would you hold me close if I was in the cold
Would you pray for me would you know my name at all
Would you care would you be there
For the soul behind the face
Would you love me for what I am
Would you care would you be there
For the soul behind the face
Would you love me for what I am
Would you care would you be there
For the soul behind the face
Would you love me for what I am
Would you care would you be there
For the soul behind the face
Would you love me for what I am
Would you love me for what I am
Would you love me for what I am
Would you love me for what I am
The Scorpions are a German hard rock and heavy metal band formed in Hannover in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker. After several lineup changes, the definitive lineup was established in the 1970s with the addition of vocalist Klaus Meine, bassist Francis Buchholz, and drummer Herman Rarebell. The Scorpions achieved international success in the 1980s with albums like *Love at First Sting* (1984) and *Savage Amusement* (1988), which launched iconic singles such as "Rock You Like a Hurricane", "Still Loving You", and "Wind of Change". Their music, characterized by powerful guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and lyrics often focused on love, loss, and hope, has captivated a global audience. The Scorpions are considered one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, with over 100 million albums sold worldwide. Among their most notable collaborations is the one with Japanese artist Ryuichi Sakamoto for the song "Wind of Change".
