Late of the Pier is an English musical group formed in Castle Donington, Derbyshire. Active since 2005, the quartet is known for its electronic and experimental sound that blends elements of indie rock, post-punk, and synthpop. Their debut album, *Fantasy Black Channel*, released in 2008 by Parlophone Records, received positive reviews from critics and helped them emerge as one of the most interesting bands on the British music scene. Among their best-known songs are "The Bears Are Coming", "She's Got A Gun" and "Oh! The Joy". In 2010 they released their second album, *Make The Most Of It*, followed by an EP in 2013.
