Gene Vincent, stage name of Eugene Vincent Craddock (1935-1971), was an American singer and guitarist considered one of the pioneers of rock and roll. Born in Oklahoma City, Vincent began his musical career in the 1950s, influenced by artists like Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry.
