Superheavy is a rock supergroup formed in 2011 from an extraordinary combination of international talents. The group features Mick Jagger, frontman of the Rolling Stones, Joss Stone, soul singer and actress, Dave Stewart, producer and multi-instrumentalist of Eurythmics, Damian Marley, son of legendary Bob Marley, and A. R. Rahman, Indian film composer. Stone and Stewart had already collaborated with Jagger in the past. The idea behind the project was to create a unique musical fusion, blending reggae, pop, soul and Indian music influences.
