Now my days are growing cold, all the memories unfold
Thinking 'bout the friends we lost, wondering how to count the cost
Now my days are growing cold
I can hardly wait any longer, now the feeling's growing stronger
Thinking 'bout the times we had, good times always turn into bad
Now my days are growing cold
Chorus:
Why don't you take me for a little while
Sing me songs, you know, will make me smile
Why don't you take me for a little while
As I watch the rising sun, I see a new day just begun
Thinking 'bout the sacrifice, wondering how to pay the price
Now my world is growing cold
(chorus)
(Solo)
So now my days are growing cold, all my memories been told
Thinking 'bout the dreams we lost, wondering how to count the cost
Now my days are growing cold
(chorus) - sing me songs, you know, will make me make me make me smile
(chorus) - sing me songs, you know, will make me make me make me smile
Make me smile
Why don't you take me for a little while
Sing me songs, you know, will make me make me make me smile
Somebody take me take me, won't you make me smile...

Coverdale–Page is a collaborative studio album by English singer David Coverdale and guitarist Jimmy Page. It was released on 15 March 1993 by EMI in Europe, 16 March by Geffen Records in North America and 18 March by Sony Music Entertainment in Japan. The album's production was handled by Coverdale, Page and Mike Fraser. Following the disbandment of Coverdale's band Whitesnake and a failed reunion attempt by Page's band Led Zeppelin, John Kalodner proposed the idea to Page of the musicians working together. After meeting each other, they began writing songs, which were then recorded over the course of 1991 and 1992.
