U.S. Bombs are an American hardcore punk band formed in Los Angeles in 1993. The original lineup consisted of Duane Peters (vocals), Chuck Briggs and Kerry Martinez (guitars), Wade Walston (bass) and Chip Hanna (drums). Their music is characterized by frenetic energy, aggressive riffs, and often politically charged lyrics. After a self-titled EP in 1996, they released their first full-length album *Put Strength in the Final Blow* in 1997, followed by *Garibaldi Guard!* in 1998. In 2000, Chuck Briggs left the band to be replaced by Jonny Wickersham (Youth Brigade). With this new member, they recorded *Back at the Laundromat* in 2001. U.S. Bombs continue to be an active force in the hardcore punk scene, releasing new albums and touring worldwide. Some of their most representative songs include: *The American Dream*, *No More Heroes*, *I'm Not Your Friend*.
