I smile at you at the show
Bullshit along with your niceties
Then I sit back and watch you go
Suck up to people you wanna be
Oooh, but I've got it
Oooh, that you're not it
Oooh, and it's just a matter of time
Before one by one, your friends
Fully discover
The real you
The real you
The real you
I gotta say you're good at what you do
Charming first impressions
But you're not keeping everyone fooled
Beware of their suspicions
Oooh, 'cause they'll get it
Oooh, that you're not it
Oooh, and it's just a matter of time
Before one by one, your friends
Fully discover
The real you
The real you
The real you
The real you
The real you
The real you
Oooh, well, they'll get it
Oooh, that you're not it
Oooh, and it's just a matter of time
Before one by one, your friends
Fully discover
The real you
The real you
The real you
The real you
The real you
The real you
The lyrics THE REAL YOU of DANCE HALL CRASHERS is also present in the album Purr (1999)
Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo "The Ska Song", "Don't Let Me Down" e "I Got You Babe".

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
