U.D.O. is a German heavy metal band formed in 1987 by Udo Dirkschneider, the former vocalist of Accept. Dirkschneider launched this new project after leaving Accept, bringing with him a powerful and aggressive musical style characterized by crushing guitar riffs and English lyrics that tackle themes such as power, freedom, and the fight against injustice.
