Three strikes

Mm-mm-mm
Yeah turn me up
Oh-mm-mm
Hmm-hey-Hmm

Been a minute since I've been in my bag
I've gotten so far detached
The summer's gotten darker than the last
But it's fucked being sad
When you're in it man, life?hits?you?fast
But I'm learning?how to deal?with the weight of the world on your lap
Gotta pinch yourself to make sure it's real

As these three strikes hang over my head
As these three strikes hang over my head

Been a minute since I've walked out alone
Keeping my head in my phone
Stuck in my room, I feel safe on my own
And uncomfortable at the same time
They say that the pain comes and goes
And so once it explodes
You'd better hold on to the love that you know
'Cause you still, you still got a soul

As these three strikes hang over my head (My head)
As these three strikes hang over my head
These three strikes hang over my head
As these three strikes hang over my head
As these three strikes hang over my head (H-head)

Three strikes and I’m out
My luck’s gone out
I’ll be the same again
With three strikes and I’m out
I need time out
‘Till I can feel the same again

As these three strikes hang over my head (My head)
As these three strikes hang over my head
These three strikes hang over my head
As these three strikes hang over my head (My head)
As these three strikes hang over my head (H-head)

Biografia

Honne is a British musical duo formed in London in 2014 by James Hatcher and Andrew Neale. The group's name derives from two Japanese words: "honne", meaning "inner truth", and "tatemae", indicating "social mask". Honne's music is characterized by an electronic and atmospheric sound, with influences from pop, R and B, and soul. Their songs are often introspective and deal with themes such as love, loneliness, and the search for authenticity. Among their most notable successes are "Warm On A Cold Night", "Location Unknown" and "All In The Club". Honne has collaborated with artists such as MNEK, SG Lewis and Jamie Woon. The duo has released three studio albums: "Gone Are The Days" (2016), "Love Me/Love Me Not" (2019) and "No Songs No Stories" (2023).
