Vintersorg è un gruppo musicale svedese fondato nel 1994 sotto il nome di Vargatron. La band, attiva fino ad oggi, si distingue per uno stile black/viking metal caratterizzato da testi che esplorano temi fantasy, mitologici, naturalistici, cosmici e metafisici. Il nome Vintersorg, che significa "Depressione Invernale", è stato tratto dalla serie di romanzi Isfolket di Margit Sandemo, dove il personaggio omonimo è figlio di un importante leader pagano. Vintersorg ha pubblicato numerosi album, tra cui "Heart of the Ancient Forest" (2001), "The 13th Sun" (2004) e "Sol Invictus" (2017). Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Serpent's Tongue", "Vintersorg" e "Blood and Iron".
