Your children are shooting up society
'cause you made money making killing a commodity
at war on tv from a faraway field
a timebomb generation
the nation's fate is sealed
kill the stain inside our heads
tell the policeman to give up
we live in defiance of empty times
kill the stain inside our heads
apathy until we're dead
we live in defiance of empty times
No more empty times
Timebomb is the building tension
stretched across the globe
timebomb watch the media lying
'just another episode'
timebomb to transform awareness
in our hearts deep inside
from man to man to nation
end the fear and conquer pride
so what does it mean
to take their power and push it away
overcome this culture
and the lies they tell them everyday
find a voice for a better future
and a place for you and I
to face our fears and
fall down to rise back up
Strike Anywhere are a post-hardcore band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 1999 after the dissolution of Thomas Barnett's previous band, Inquisition. The band gained significant popularity due to their appearances in three Tony Hawk video games: *Refusal* in *Tony Hawk's Underground 1* (2003), *American Wasteland* (2005) and *Downhill Jam* (2006). They also participated in the documentary *Wake Up Screaming* about the Vans Warped Tour. In 2006, they released their third studio album, *Dead FM*, followed by *Iron Front* in 2009 with Bridge 9 Records. Their sound is characterized by a blend of punk energy, melodic hooks and introspective lyrics that tackle themes such as social alienation, political disillusionment and the search for identity. Some of their most representative tracks include *Refusal*, *The Last Time I Saw You* and *Iron Front*.
