(parole e musica di M. Bubola)
Vengo dal buio
salgo verso il tuo trono.
Vengo dalla ragione
salgo verso il perdono.
Dopo mesi di pioggia
e di cani ringhianti,
tornano i santi quaggiù
tornano i santi quaggiù.
Vengo da Canterbury,
vado verso Santiago.
Vengo da Roma
a Gerusalemme me ne vado.
Dopo mesi di fango
e di diavoli erranti,
tornano i santi quaggiù
tornano i santi quaggiù.
Non senti un canto che vien da laggiù,
sono api e sono cicale.
Gli alberi ridono su quei campi blu perché
tornano i santi quaggiù
tornano i santi quaggiù.
Ho veduto i tuoi occhi
come stelle cadenti,
sei passata nel fuoco
tra lame lucenti.
Dopo mesi di freddo
sconosciuti rimpianti
tornano i santi quaggiù
tornano i santi quaggiù.
Non vedi la gente che balla laggiù,
quel carnevale che viene
e quei bambini col naso all'insù perché
tornano i santi quaggiù
tornano i santi quaggiù.
Tu dici Ricordami, amore, di dimenticare!
Io desidero di te ogni cosa che riesco a ricordare!
Dopo mesi di nebbie
senza niente davanti
tornano i santi quaggiù
tornano i santi quaggiù
tornano i santi quaggiù
