E così improvvisamente un'emozione,
tipo quelle che tu non vorresti mai,
mi ha portato a ricordare un sogno
che ho vissuto troppe volte sai
una terra incenerita ormai dal sole.
Io cercavo di trovare la mia meta

Io mi sono avvicinato piano piano

ed il cielo era diventato scuro.
Lentamente il vecchio continuò a parlare
mentre rimanevo inchiodato lì
dalle sue parole ferme e dure
che dalle orecchie entravano nel cuore:

Questo sai, è tutto quello che ho da dirti,

tutto ciò che ti fa morire dentro

Ed il vecchio poi se ne andò
senza guardarmi partì
con l'andatura di chi
non può buttare il suo tempo
il vecchio si allontanò
dietro il tramonto sparì
senza voltarsi lasciando
solo queste parole:
"Questo sai, è tutto quello che ho da dirti,

tutto ciò che ti fa morire dentro
