Richard Anthony, stage name of Ricardo Btesh (Beirut, 1938 – Paris, 2015), was a celebrated French singer of Lebanese origin. Considered one of the greatest interpreters of French music of the 20th century, he achieved success in the 1960s and 1970s with a wide range of musical genres, from pop to jazz, passing through chanson. His warm and melodious voice, combined with poetic lyrics and refined arrangements, conquered millions of fans in France and around the world.
