Octavia Sperati is a Norwegian gothic metal band from Bergen. Active from 2004 to 2008 and then returning in 2015, the group has released two albums: *Winter Enclosure* (2005) and *Grace Submerged* (2007), both under the Candlelight Records label. The band consisted solely of women except for drummer Ivar Alver. Singer Silje Wergeland, after leaving Octavia Sperati in 2009 to join The Gathering, announced the band's return in 2015. Among their most representative songs are 'The Serpent's Tongue', 'Winter Enclosure' and 'Grace Submerged'.
