Kristopher Bowers, known as Kris Bowers, is an American composer, pianist, record producer, and director born in 1986. Bowers has demonstrated remarkable musical versatility, spanning from jazz to soul, passing through classical and contemporary music. His musical training began with piano lessons at the age of seven, followed by a college education at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. In 2013 he won the Grammy Award for Best Arranger for Brian Tyree Henry's album "The Green Book". Bowers is known for his original soundtracks for films and television series, including "Green Book", for which he received an Oscar nomination in 2019. Among his most representative pieces are "A Love Supreme", "The Green Book Theme" and "Black Panther Suite".
