Hard time waking up this morning
Close the blinds so I can see
The first light came without a warning
In the sunrise, get a daylight it`s out of me
Down seven Tylenols for breakfast
Chasing down where's last nights cloudy memory
Empty bottle preach the gospels
Another shot ain't coming close to saving me
Close to saving me
You can only get so high
Then you got to come down
Twisted in the clouds, just like a kite
Beggin´ just to stay up in the sky
Flying in a freefall
Before you know it is your last call
I'll take one more drink and two packs of lies
Drowning with your demons in disguise
You can only get so high
You can only get so high
Life was one long after party
My welcome was too long of a stay
Your good times sing the same old story
But they leave out, cause the bill is getting paid
You keep yourself 10 second chances
So I ain't quitting I'm just splitting for a while
Ended like so many bad romances
One more picture left before you say goodbye
You can only get so high
Then you got to come down
Twisted in the clouds, just like a kite
Beggin´ just to stay up in the sky
Flying in a freefall
Before you know it is your last call
I'll take one more drink and two packs of lies
Drowning with your demons in disguise
You can only get so high
You can only get so high
Endless limitations that I keep on gettin' by
I guess I stopped by sitting down with me, myself and I
I think it's best to leave my desperation to decide
You can only get so high
Then you got to come down
Twisted in the clouds, just like a kite
Beggin´ just to stay up in the sky
Flying in a freefall
Before you know it is your last call
I'll take one more drink and two packs of lies
You can only get so high
Till your bottle melt a breakdown
You can only hurt so many times
Before the truth falls from the lie
Flying in a freefall
Just before you hit the last one
They only get one more chance and one last goodbye
It took a lifetime to realize
You can only get so high
You can only get so high
Then you got to come down
Then you got to come down
Then you got to come down
