I Big Steel Shit sono una band hard 'n heavy originaria di Taranto, fondata nel 2006 da Stefano D'Errico, Giovanni Lopriore e Marco Costante. Dopo numerosi cambi di formazione, la band ha trovato la sua configurazione stabile nel 2010 con l'ingresso di Alessandro Lippo e Davide Perrucci. Con questa formazione hanno pubblicato il loro primo album, "Greavy", un lavoro di otto tracce che definisce il loro sound hard 'n heavy. Nel 2011, Davide Perrucci è stato sostituito da Fulvio Orlando, contribuendo a una nuova fase creativa per la band. L'album successivo, "Shit Happens", anticipato da un tour europeo, riflette questa evoluzione artistica. I Big Steel Shit combinano elementi di Alternative Metal e Post-Grunge nei loro testi, che esprimono rabbia e critica verso un mondo rassegnato alla miseria materiale e culturale.
