Krait, whose real name is Michela Di Mauro, is an Italian singer-songwriter, screamer and vocal coach. Frontwoman of the metal band Deceit Machine, active since 2016 and considered one of the most respected hard rock bands in Italy, she takes her stage name from the “Bungarus caeruleus”, commonly known as “Krait”, a nocturnal snake native to India, among the most dangerous, silent and lethal in the world. Passionate about music in all its genres, nuances and shades, she combines different styles and sounds, moving from hard rock to jazz, from screaming to hip hop; a rainbow of melodies and contrasts that harmonize thanks to her rare communicative ability and a unique and refined vocal style.
