Matteo Sugan, known professionally as Sugan, is an Italian producer and composer born in the province of Como in 1992. After studying piano and composition at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Como, he graduated in Media Languages from the Catholic University and took audio production courses at the SAE Institute in Milan. He began publishing his first songs in English, composed and self-produced, starting in 2020, later collected in the album "Year after". This marks the beginning of his musical journey and collaborations with emerging Italian artists. His songs explore social themes, the complexity of being human, and the contradictions of contemporary society. Sugan alternates between English and Italian lyrics, moving from deeper topics to lighter and more playful sounds. His sound is experimental and ever-changing, ranging from electropop, urban, orchestral to disco, always in line with the versatility of his project. With singer Arvenige, he has launched a music production and songwriting project focused on environmental and social issues, aiming to promote a more inclusive society that cares for everyone's needs. Among his most representative tracks: "Year after", "The City Sleeps", "Lost in Translation".
