Marco Albani (Roma, 1963) è un chitarrista e compositore italiano che si muove sulla linea di confine tra Jazz acustico e World Music. Le sue composizioni, ricche di sonorità mediterranee, africane e sudamericane, comunicano idee e sensazioni con un linguaggio diretto ed emotivamente coinvolgente. Il suo percorso è segnato da una costante ricerca interiore e contaminazione tra ritmi e melodie del mondo, con grande attenzione agli arrangiamenti ed al suono d'ambientazione. Nel 2006 pubblica l'album "Chronos", accolto positivamente dalla critica e inserito in diverse programmazioni radiofoniche italiane ed estere. Nel 2010 esce "Encuentro", un viaggio nel cuore della musica latino-americana, con la partecipazione di artisti internazionali come Maurizio Giammarco, Marco Siniscalco e Carlos Sarmiento. L'album consolida il successo dell'artista, che partecipa a programmi radiofonici come Brasil su RAI Radio1 ed Etnobazar su Radio Capodistria. Con il Marco Albani Project si esibisce al Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival di Roma (2010) e Casa del Jazz Festival (2011). Nel 2021 pubblica il concept-album "Kallaama", un incontro tra la melodia chitarristica e la vocalità maschile e femminile, con la partecipazione di Carla Cocco. Carla Cocco (Carbonia, 9 settembre 1978) è una cantautrice ed interprete italiana. Inizia a suonare il pianoforte all'età di otto anni e lo studio del canto a quindici. Dotata di una vocalità intensa e particolare, interpreta generi diversi mantenendo una forte identità artistica. Si trasferisce a Roma nel 1997 e partecipa al programma "Sarabanda" (Italia 1). Nel 2012 pubblica il CD "Respiro", prodotto da Gianni Zangarelli Ciuffini, con la partecipazione di Toquinho e gli Audio 2. Nel 2015 inizia un'esperienza in Zambia, dove nel 2017 apre "Africa Sarda Studio", una scuola di musica / studio di registrazione all'interno del ghetto di Bauleni. Nel 2018 pubblica l'album "Africa Sarda and Is Amigus", un cross-over tra la musica etnica sarda e zambiana. Nel 2021 collabora con Marco Albani nel singolo "MARI MARI MIU" tratto dall'album "KALLAAMA".
