MARE MARE MIO (traduzione dal Sardo Campidanese)
Questa è la terra del cuore mio
Che se io piango
Rimane con me
Questa è la terra del vento
Che non si placa mai
Come questo dolore mio
Hai preso l'anima mia,
L'hai buttata e poi uccisa
Come faccio a perdonarti
Come faccio ora
A lasciarti andare?
Questo è il mare che abbraccia questa sabbia
(per poi abbandonarla)
Come tu abbracciavi me
Mi hai rubato la voglia di amare
L'hai calpestata ridendo di me
Come faccio a perdonarti,
Come faccio adesso
A lasciarti andare?
Mare, mare mio
Se puoi, aiutami tu
Aiutami perché io ora
Non ce la faccio, sono sola
Mare, mare mio
Tu che profumi di infanzia
Aiutami a tornare con il cuore
A quando ero una bambina
Hai preso l'anima mia,
L'hai buttata e poi uccisa
Io non ti posso perdonare
Io non ti posso perdonare
Bugie... bugie... bugie
Bugie... bugie... bugie

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
