In attività dal 2004, le Mia Wallace nascono come quartetto al femminile devoto all'indie rock di matrice statunitense, ma da subito scelgono di cantare in italiano. A dare voce e forza al progetto c'è Alessandra Annibali, in precedenza negli Indisciplina, vincitrice del contest Brand New Talent (MTV) nel 2001. I testi, schietti e genuini, descrivono situazioni e pensieri concreti con la voglia di gridare al mondo la propria personalità e la necessità di lottare senza arrendersi. Né riot girl né cantautrici da cameretta, le Mia Wallace amano e suonano il rock, quello senza fronzoli, che non richiede tecnicismi ma molta costanza e coerenza. E' così che la band ha raggiunto i suoi obiettivi, suonando su numerosi palchi della Capitale e del territorio italiano aprendo i live di artisti come Superpartner, Sikitikis, Lilis on Mars, Ratti della Sabina e Andrea Ra. Si sono fatte valere anche nei festival, qualificandosi in semifinale a ?Primo Maggio Tutto l?Anno 2009? e ?MarteLive 2009? e vincendo il concorso ?Sorsi di Rock? nel 2010. A Luglio del 2011 vengono invitate al Festival Sloveno ?Glasnost Ne Znanih?. Ospiti di tante trasmissioni radiofoniche, approdano anche a Rai Radio 2 per una puntata di Versione Beta, e nel frattempo esordiscono su cd nel 2008 (uscito per l?etichetta UFO Hi-Fi). Oggi le Mia Wallace sono cresciute e il loro sound è in continuo mutamento, risentendo di influenze grunge e psichedeliche ma con un'anima pop in chiaroscuro. Con l'arrivo del nuovo batterista, Pasquale Montesano, si preparano ad incidere il loro primo album, con l'intento di lasciare il segno alzando il volume dei loro desideri.
