Mia Wallace is an Italian musical group formed in 2004. Originally a female quartet, the band distinguished itself for its indie rock sound in Italian, influenced by American indie rock. Alessandra Annibali, singer and leader of the group, was already known for her participation in Indisciplina and for winning the Brand New Talent (MTV) contest in 2001. The lyrics of Mia Wallace are characterized by a raw honesty that tackles everyday situations and personal thoughts with determined energy. The band has established itself by performing in numerous venues in Rome and throughout Italy, opening for artists such as Superpartner, Sikitikis, Lilis on Mars, Ratti della Sabina and Andrea Ra.
