Simo Veludo, born in Turin in 1995, is an Italian singer-songwriter who blends pop elements with urban and electronic influences. He began his career as a busker, performing on the streets and participating in national competitions, achieving notable recognition. In 2020, he reached the televised stage of X Factor, passing the casting and winning over the jury composed of Mika, Manuel Agnelli, Emma Marrone and Hell Raton. In 2021, he opened for Sangiovanni, Deddy and Madame at the Deejay on Stage in Riccione, presented by Rudy Zerbi. He also participated in the Castrocaro Festival, winning with the song "Mutande" which qualified him for the Sanremo Giovani 2022 auditions. In 2022, he signed a record deal with Simone Bertolotti and Andrea Bonomo, respectively producer and songwriter of artists such as Le Vibrazioni, Marco Mengoni and Ermal Meta. In November 2022, he released the single "STAN", an Italian rendition of Eminem feat Dido's famous song, tackling the theme of drug addiction.
