Finley Quaye è un musicista britannico nato il 25 marzo 1974 ad Edimburgo, in Scozia. Quaye ha raggiunto la fama negli anni '90 con il suo stile musicale che fonde elementi di reggae, soul, jazz e trip hop. Nel 1997 ha vinto il Mobo Award per il miglior artista reggae e nel 1998 il BRIT Award come miglior artista britannico solista maschile. Il suo album di debutto, *Maverick A Strike*, pubblicato nel 1997, è stato un successo commerciale, con brani come "Everytime" e "Sunday Shining" che hanno raggiunto le classifiche musicali.
