It stretches on forever
I walk through this abyss of consciousness
Relying only on my heartbeat when I face you
The open blue reflecting eternal possibility
The words we exchange intertwine
A melancholy figure, hanging heavily
Surfaces in my mind
There must be a heart there:
Soon noise will drown it out
Returning to the concealed light
My voice raised, yearning to go back
White waves stop quietly
The song of the clouds breaking the surface
Letters of promise to the insane sunlight
I gaze at the fragments of thought spread out at my feet
Tears of hope for those unfulfilled
To whom do the stars belong?
Someday this sadness' end
Will be returned to us and the story will continue
Silhouettes reflected in my eyes:
Countless faint smiles lined up before me
Gazing towards the exit
This beloved landscape
A vision brings
An instant of whiteness and the palm of my hand
All exists within one stride
Bells sound the arrival of the flood
The bridge of the sky and the clamour of twilight
I pass through this night; in silence
I extinguish my lamp, and in the moonlit street
Give an innocent smile for the happiness to come
Mogwai is a Scottish post-rock band formed in Glasgow in 1996. Comprised of Stuart Braithwaite (guitar, vocals), Dominic Aitchison (bass), Martin Bulloch (drums) and John Cummings (keyboards, guitar), the quartet has gained international acclaim for its atmospheric and emotionally charged music, characterized by intense crescendos, hypnotic riffs and moments of silent beauty. Mogwai has established itself as one of the pillars of post-rock, influencing generations of musicians with a sound that spans from progressive rock to ambient electronic. The band has released a dozen studio albums, including "Young Team" (1997), considered a genre classic, and "Happy Songs for Happy People" (2006). Among their most representative tracks are "Mogwai Fear Satan", "Take Me Somewhere Nice" and "R U Still In 2 It?", which have helped define the group's sonic identity. Mogwai has collaborated with various artists, including Italian composer Francesco Tristano and Japanese singer Yukimi Nagano.

Do we want to define "I know you know me" a masterpiece? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt for at least two reasons. The first and most evident are the artists who interpret it: Caroline Spence and Matt Berninger, second for the deep and poetic text.
My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
