Angelo Branduardi (born February 12, 1950) is an Italian singer-songwriter of international fame. Considered one of the pillars of Italian folk music, Branduardi stands out for his multifaceted creative vein that ranges from songwriting to musical theatre, from composing film scores to writing operas. His music, characterized by poetic lyrics and evocative melodies, has won over a vast audience in Italy and Europe, with particular success in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Among his most famous songs are "My Band Plays Jazz", "My Free Song", "Azure" (cover of Adriano Celentano) and "Seize Life".
