Betty Curtis, pseudonimo di Roberta Corti (Milano, 1937), è stata una delle più popolari cantanti italiane degli anni '60. Iniziò la sua carriera come attrice teatrale e cinematografica, debuttando al cinema nel 1958. Nel 1960 ottenne il successo con il brano "Pensiero", che le valse l'ingresso nel mondo della musica. In seguito partecipò a numerosi festival musicali, tra cui Sanremo, dove si distinse per la sua voce melodiosa e il suo carisma sul palco. Tra i suoi brani più famosi ricordiamo anche "Io ho bisogno di te", "Un bacio al buio" e "La mia casa è nel cielo". Nel corso della sua carriera ha collaborato con importanti compositori italiani come Gino Paoli e Piero Piccioni. Dopo un periodo di pausa, Betty Curtis si ritirò dalle scene musicali negli anni '70.
