Pierre Bachelet (1944-2005) was a French singer-songwriter and composer, considered one of the most important artists of the French chanson in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1975 he released his first solo album, "L'amour est un oiseau rebelle", which launched him to success. Bachelet is known for his warm and melodic voice, his romantic and melancholic songs, often accompanied by refined orchestral arrangements. Among his most famous songs are "Je t'aime à mourir", "Elle est partie", "On ira". Throughout his career, he sold millions of records worldwide, receiving numerous awards and accolades.
