Gli UMMO sono un gruppo musicale italiano formatosi a dicembre del 2012 dall'idea del cantante e compositore Cristiano Romanelli. Il progetto, che vede la partecipazione di Federico Di Simone (batteria), Gregory Coniglio (basso) e Cristian Sorrenti (chitarra), si propone di mescolare diversi generi musicali per creare un sound originale. Il loro primo album omonimo, uscito il 25 dicembre 2014, segna l'inizio del CONTACT TOUR 2015 che li porta a esibirsi in piazze e club italiani. Il successo dei singoli "DESTINO" e "MALINCONIA" precede l'uscita di "SINDROME", terzo singolo radiofonico nel gennaio 2016. Nello stesso anno, gli UMMO partecipano al MANICOMIO TOUR e aprono i concerti del rocker italiano Pino Scotto con i Rocky Horror. Nel novembre 2016 inizia una collaborazione artistica con la Direttore d'orchestra Maria Gabriella Ciaffarini e l'Ensamble orchestrale Sinergie D'arte, che rivisita i brani degli UMMO in chiave classica durante la rassegna barocca "Barock". Questo esperimento dà vita al progetto 413.44 MHZ TOUR. Nel 2017, gli UMMO partecipano all'ESTATICA con un'orchestra di musica classica e il coro polifonico Le Voci Del Borgo per uno spettacolo sold out. La band viene selezionata per la finale della trentesima edizione di Sanremo Rock a maggio dello stesso anno e pubblica il singolo "CONSUMAMI" a luglio. Nel settembre 2017, registrano il secondo album al Busker Studio con sonorità rock anni '90, mantenendo la vena elettronica che li caratterizza. Il PLASTICA TOUR inizia a gennaio 2018, seguito dall'uscita del singolo "PLASTICA" a luglio dello stesso anno. A settembre e ottobre 2018, gli UMMO intraprendono il loro primo tour europeo con dieci date in Austria, Slovacchia, Repubblica Ceca, Ungheria e Polonia. Nel 2019 vincono AREZZO WAVE come migliore band della regione Abruzzo e pubblicano "COME UN ALIENO". Partecipano alla finalissima nazionale di SUD WAVE a novembre dello stesso anno. Nel giugno 2020 esce il singolo "BLU", seguito dall'uscita del nuovo singolo "GODIMI" il 11 giugno 2021 distribuito da Universal Music.
