Paolo Vallesi is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician, born in Florence in 1964. He is known for his musical style that blends elements of songwriting, progressive rock and folk. He debuted in the 1980s with the album "My Life", followed by successes like "The Sky Is Blue" and "I'm Not Afraid". Vallesi has collaborated with artists such as Francesco De Gregori and Lucio Dalla. He is considered one of the most important exponents of contemporary Italian music, appreciated for his catchy melodies and introspective lyrics that deal with themes of love, loss and hope.
